RECEIVING CARDS Foreign Bureaux and individual hams may send cards for Cyprus Amateurs to:
POB 51267 - 3503 Lemesos - Cyprus. Please note that cards for Amateurs who are
not members of
CARS will not be forwarded to them. Also please note that some
Cyprus Amateurs do not QSL via the bureau, even if they are a member of
CARS. Incoming QSLs are pre-sorted by Alan 5B4AHJ, then forwarded to local managers, who will take them to their Radio Club meetings (details on Club Meetings & Other Events page). Please collect your cards, or ask someone to do so for you. SENDING CARDS Sort your cards by Country (and sort the countries in order of the main
prefix for each country), and send them with the payment (One Euro per 50 cards)
to Alan, who will periodically forward them to individual foreign bureaux.
Please write on a slip of paper the number of QSLs sent and the amount enclosed,
and send the slip with your cards. You may take cards to your local Radio Club meeting or the Monthly Ham Lunch. A complete list of bureaux can be found HERE Would all users of the Cyprus bureau please that the following countries do
not have a working bureau, so we cannot handle outgoing cards for these
countries. Please check QRZ.COM,
IK3QAR or one of the other web resources for
the correct routing. Sometimes this will be via a manager, in which case please
mark the manager's callsign clearly on your QSL card, or direct only. In the
latter case, please do not send your QSL to the
CARS bureau, but send it in accordance with the
instructions on QRZ.COM etc. HK Colombia Do not forget to include a minimum of €2 per 100 cards! The buro needs this for postage, envelopes etc. Alan will also accept postage stamps, properly stamped IRCs or Green Stamps (3 Dollars or IRCs per 100 cards). No cheques please. If you can include a little extra it will be appreciated. If you don't include any payment your cards will not be sent. No tickee, no laundry! |
