Temporary special event callsigns with prefixes 5B, C4, H2, and P3 can be issued for specific special events, contests etc. Any licensed amateur may apply for special callsigns for particular events.

Any 5B licencee may apply for a permanent special call, known as Contest call. Such call is to be used only during contests.

Prior to applying for a Contest callsign should one is required, you are advised to review the icon CARS Permanent Contest Calls Rules and Application procedure (29.13 kB).
