Cyprus Amateur Radio Society

The Department of Planning and Housing (DPH) of the Ministry of Interior, is tasked with the regulation of urban and spatial development of Cyprus, with sustainability as key element, and advises the Minister of Interior for such matters. The DPH prepares development plans and studies, which are implemented through the Urban Audit activities. Through a series of projects and incentives, the Department is working to upgrade and maintain the natural and built environment within the context of sustainable development.

Moreover, one of it's many tasks involve the issuing of permits for tower installation based on various pre-agreed rules and regulations. This task however is the responsibility to the regional offices of the above department, who implement the guidelines prepared by the central DPH through the urban audit activities they perform.
